Benefit Event was a Huge Success!

Our fundraiser on May 30 was a huge success. We raised about $900 for the project!

The event began at 7:00 and we sold the first piece right away! Six pieces of art were sold, as well as many cards, photographs and Building New Hope Fairly Traded Coffee. We also sold many raffle tickets to raffle off 17 gift certificates donated from various local businesses.

We would like to thank Andrew Watson and AJ Schaffer, owners of Your Inner Vagabond Coffeehouse and World Lounge for hosting the event, for allowing us to use their beautiful space, and for Andrew's organizing the Globalista Jam. Please stop by to patronize their business and to see how beautifully they have decorated their space!

We want to thank EVERYONE who stopped by to chat, to learn, to make a donation, purchase artwork, etc. I also wanted to thank everyone who donated their time, talents, efforts and kindness to make the event very successful.

Evento de Beneficio Exitoso

El recaudador de fondos el 30 de mayo fue muy exitoso. Ganamos casi $900 para el proyecto.

El evento empezó a ls 7:00pm y vendimos en seguida la primera obra de arte. En total, vendimos 6 obras de arte, y muchas tarjetas, fotos y café de Building New Hope. También vendimos muchos boletos de rifa, y dimos 17 cúpones de regalos, donados por empresas locales.

Queremos agradecer a Andrew Watson y AJ Schaffer, dueños de YIV. Ellos permitieron el uso de su bello café, y Andrew organizó el Globalista Jam. ¡Favor de partronizar su empresa y ver cómo han decorado su espacio magnífico!

También quisiéramos agradecer a todos que visitaron para charlar, aprender, hacer una donación, comprar arte, etc. Yo también quiero agradecer a todos que donaron sus horas, talentos, destrezas y amabilidad.
