Artist and Educator Sue Powers exhibits her photographs, artwork, student work, and teaching notes, from her trips to El Porvenir, where she taught and collaborated in 2012 and 2014. On Thursday, February 5, she will give a talk about the work.
Sensation Translation and the Educator Talk take place in the PCA School, 1047 Shady Avenue. Works exhibited are both fine art prints of people and places that Sue encountered while in Nicaragua along with drawings, lesson plans and images that document the entire project.
Participants are invited to the PCA School as early as 6:00 PM on February 5 to enjoy the entire show before the talk begins at 7:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public.
